Lawless & Contemptuous: BBC Flouts ICO Deadline as High Court Contempt Charges Loom Over Israeli Embassy Call Logs

On 10 March 2026, the ICO formally ruled that the BBC broke the law (section 10 of the Freedom of Information Act) by failing to give a proper response to a Freedom of Information request.
The request was narrow and specific: it asked only for network-level voice call records (not individual phone logs or messages) from the BBC’s managed mobile provider, covering any calls between official BBC-issued work phones allocated to four senior figures — Tim Davie (Director-General), Sir Robbie Gibb (Board member), Deborah Turness (former News CEO), and Dr Samir Shah (Chair) — and numbers linked to the Israeli Embassy in London or Ambassador Tzipi Hotovely, between 1 December 2024 and 1 December 2025.
The ICO ordered the BBC to issue a substantive response (either release the redacted data/aggregates or lawfully explain why it could not) within 30 calendar days — a deadline that expired on or around 9 April 2026.
As of today, there is still no public evidence that the BBC has complied.
A Total MSM blackout over this significant news development persists.

“Always had a plus for bad news
Rush to flush a pair of unkind foes with unbelievable math
You'd consider it pass you, either that or laugh through the facts due to this group I speak of
If you though it was us were flattered, but talking 'bout ourselves just feed buzz
Well first I'mma tell you who the group was
There was five born from the word of mouth then grew to 500
Passing on traits of great tapes to 5000
Some call em fans or the crowd
If you’re listening that group is you now
I used to imitate the group, still visit quit a few even when I got nothing new to say
Who are they? I'm with them and they with me”

From Ashes To New: Blackout (Live in Bethlehem): One Foot In The Grave

“You push all the blame on me like it's your way to
Escape from the reality that everyone hates you
No one can break through
And all you wanna do is evade truths
Lying through your teeth like you were selling some fake news
Hoping everyone will play your games and embrace you
But all we wanna do is find a way to escape you

So run away
You'll never escape yourself…”

Mr. Mister: Welcome To The Real World: Black/White

“We are two shadows moving on a wall
Two characters both weak and strong

We chant and we dance, we draw ourselves in
Then we run from each other again

Love is so strange, how we change from day to night
And love is so strange, how we change from black to white
Ever so strange, how we change from day to night (Hey yeah)

I draw a picture of your face
Another time, another place”
